Christina Haack was birthed in Anaheim California on July 9, 1984. She started her career as a real estate agent after she graduated from college. It was here that she met Tarek El-Moussa who would become her husband. Following the 2008 collapse of the stock exchange many investors in real estate and those who were house flippers lost their money. Due to the crash Tarek and Christina El Moussa nearly lost all their assets. When they moved from their home that was costing them $6,000 per year to a house that cost $700, they almost lost all their possessions. The business and economy in general, slowly recovered. HGTV and Rise to Fame Tarek enlisted one of his friends to aid in making an HGTV video audition in the year 2011. The clip showed Tarek flipping a complete house with Christina. Pie Town Productions' executives got hold of the tape. They instantly fell in love with Tarek's and Christina's love story. The deal was signed by the couple with HGTV. Flip of Flop premiered April 2013 For seven seasons, the show aired from 2013 to 2017. The show featured Christina and Tarek buying properties in Orange County. They would work for weeks on restoring the properties so that they could sell their properties at a profit. Tarek is in charge of construction, demolition and renovations. Christina keeps everything running on schedule.

Then, in April of 2013 "Flip of Flop" is a reality series, began its debut. In seven seasons, the show ran from 2013 until 2017. Christina and Tarek acquired properties, mostly mid-income properties located in Orange County. After spending some time renovating the home and selling it, they decided to flip it for a return. Tarek takes care of construction, demolition and renovations. Christina keeps everything running according to schedule.
